How about that? Well, the Jeep may be more easily recognizable now, but its true claim to fame has already come and gone. I responded to a casting call a month or two ago for a film being made in the area, and they were looking for period vehicles. I offered up my Jeep (before I painted it), and they took it. So sometime next year, look for a light champagne metallic 1993 Jeep Wrangler Sahara parked in the background in a film directed by Clint Eastwood.

Here's the Jeep fresh out of the paint booth, before I got the decals.

Been a busy couple months between work, the Jeep (and other Jurassic Park projects), and my third child born a few weeks ago. After getting the Jeep back, I applied the door decals, but there was a problem with the "Jeep" logos for the sides. I plastidipped the light bar because I planned to get a plate welded on there for the lights, and it seemed there was not point in doing a quality paint job on the same piece twice. I also built a raptor crate small enough that I could disassemble it and take it with me in the Jeep. I took it with me to the first few public events I brought the Jeep to: trunk or treats. I put a Bluetooth speaker in the back on the crate and had it play raptor sounds. Maybe 1 out of 100 kids were too scared to approach the crate, so I think it's just the right level of scary (I don't want to terrify kids and give them nightmares).

Excellent work!!

A couple replies to own questions: the ‘od green’ looking top IS factory. It is called ‘Sage Green’. It was an option over Spice at the time of order (I chose this when I ordered a ‘94 Sahara in the Fall of ‘93. I sure wish I still had it!

Also, yes, they did clearcoat over the pinstriping, but not the other decals- Sahara logo, 4.0, Jeep...

Looks like you have a 9.5e winch? Which mounting plate did you go with?
