I would love to have a copy of the fog light mounting bracket in 3D, along with any other jeep models you make.

Any more progress? This is one great looking Jeep so far. It should be on the road by now?

Re: Kytor Industries JP17
Unfortunately between the holidays, a lot of travel for work, launching new products at work, a ski trip, and some very cold weather I've made little progress. I do have the lightbar now and a lot of knickknacks and doodads are staged and ready to go on. I got the vehicle registered and insured, with a custom NY plate number (JP017).
I'm targeting a few open weekends for some more progress. I'm very close at this point.

I was so ruthlessly productive and then I disappeared. But I'm back! She's insured, registered, and technically "on the road" with a custom name tag. Those with a sharp eye will notice the movie accurate lightbar in the corner:
I also have on order a set of BFG All Terrain KO2's, I went with 30x9.5 R15, about the largest you can go without a lift and not get rear flare rub. For comparison sake, that's 1" taller than the common 235/75 and 2" taller than stock YJ.
The spare is already on there, it's also 30/9.5 but a KO1 series.
When the new tires come in I will take the old shoes off, paint the wheels, have new tires mounted, and replace. I'd rather do that than paint wheels with the tires on.
Now the question is... how am I going to haul four big Jeep tires and separate 15" alloys in my Saab? I guess it's time for some upgrades to the trail beater SJ (Shitty Jeep) so I can tow a trailer and illuminate the entire Northeast. This one may eventually become a rattlecan JP Jeep... we'll see.

You can take your spare off and mount a wheel there for more space if needed. I'm interested in seeing how the 30x9.5 looks compared to the 235s I just bought. 235s look good but do seem a bit skinny in width.

Re: Kytor Industries JP17
I have been troubleshooting a turn signal issue on JP17. They don't turn on at all when the car is off (~11-12V read off battery) and either lazily slow blink or do nothing when running (~13-14V). Hazards work perfectly. All bulbs/LEDs are solid and installed properly, all connections and terminals are good. I replaced the flasher, checked all fuses, swapped hazard/turn flashers. No dice. I'm down to turn signal switch (Mopar 56007255) not making contact, at least that's my assumption, the extra volts when the alternator is on are giving it enough to barely make conduct. This requires a steering wheel pull, which is a nuisance but okay because I'm going to spray the steering column colors gray and replace the tan leather with gray leather.
On a more positive note, the shoes arrived. I also took the SJ on some trails and got some dirt on her.

Re: Kytor Industries JP17
The blinker system works on system ohms. So for example if a bulb was to burn out then the system would blink very slowly or not at all. The current draw makes the "blinker" open from the heat then when it cools down the "blinker" closes the circuit again. With a new "blinker" installed i would check the part number of the bulbs..Put some power sucking bright bulbs in.

Yup. My blinker system went nuts when I didnt have a dual-filament bulb in one slot.

Re: Kytor Industries JP17
I installed a "digital" flasher that doesn't work on ohms, and there was no change. I can't wait for this winter to end so I can make serious progress again.
