Completed pictures are on page 6 and on

Hey guys,
I'm Adam Taylor. I live in Newtown, PA. I just acquired a 1992 Wrangler Sahara and the go ahead to start the conversion into the Jurassic Park Jeep! It came with a hard top and full doors. As soon as I get the right half doors, the light bar, and the decals it will be going to into the body shop to take care of rust and the paint shop to be painted the right colors. I was thinking Jeep #26 but no idea if that number was taken. I want something unique that has not been made yet. Does anyone know of numbers that haven't been taken? This jeep will be fully converted as screen accurate as possible.

So excited to get this Jeep done and adding it to the fleet!

I will be attaching my build progress pictures as I go and updating this post!

Nice plan you got started on there. The 89 won't have the correct sahara map pockets, but other than that sounds great. (most people would not notice or miss the map pockets)

I don't know of a JP26. Most people do the movie numbers 10,12,18, and 29. There are a batch of ppl in california with sequential numbers 04,05,06. A few misc teen numbers. But I don't recall many people using middle twenties.

Just checked the registraion file: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=698 its last post of page 1.

There is a 22, 2-24's, 27, couple of 29s. No-one who registered there jeep is using 26.

Thanks a lot! The 89 is just for parts like engine issues or so on.

That's a clean looking Jeep there. If you havn't seen it, there's at least one jeep with a hard top that's painted the spice color that looks really good. Not screen-accurate, but just looks really nice.

The 89 and 92 had different engines as well, but I'm sure some of the parts are interchangeable.

The updates and build progress are all shown in the above pictures. She has a little rust work to be figured out then paint. As far as finds, I got lucky with finding KC HiLites 46 series for the back and a deal for the half doors. I also found an original REP 6000 winch. It will be fully completed by mid-August.

What year is that CB? All CBs are required to be updated to new technology. There is a pretty hefty fine that goes along with it. I know someone who got slapped with it and it was upwards of 8 grand. If that is an old technology radio, I would be hesitant using it for the CB function and just stick to the PA. I really want a PA horn to mess with people hahaha. Just a heads up man, dont want you losing funds for the JP project!
