Not sure where you all get your tires from but I got a decent deal from Sam's. 157 a tire. I went with the 235's.

TreadWright does the BFGs for something like 90 apiece. I spared that expense!

I just looked at their website. Are all of their tires retreaded?

Also got a decent set of seats. Drivers side needs some help. Also found the green sahara carpet for 100. It came out of a hardtop so I hope it is in goos shape.

Yeah, their business is based on retreads. When I got mine I took steps to explain what I was doing and asked that they try to provide tires lettering that was in the best possible shape. I'm super happy with them.

Those seats look great!

It you who got those seats! I was in San Antonio when I saw them on Craigslist, or I would have snatched them right up. Congrats!

My original intention was to go with TreadWright, but in January they stopped taking model requests and I was worried about getting another branded tire. Has anyone tried since January to get a BFG TAKO? I'm thinking I'll have to go the Sam's route too as they're offering free mounting and balancing through April 28th on BFG's.

So I sent an email over to treadwright about exactly that....

March 18

My Email:
Brand Model Request
I have read your new policy stating you are no longer matching models of tires, only brands. I am building a replica of the Jeep used in Jurassic Park, and need BF Goodrich AT KO sidewalls to match the movie used vehicles. Can you make an exception in this case? I need 235/75R15s. I would also prefer to buy 5, so my spare matches as well.

Response:
Hi Brian,

Thank you for contacting us. You may add your casing and model request to the order and if they have any problem filling your request they will contact you by phone.

Kind regards,

Phoebe
