Well, after 4-5 months of extra hours I've scraped enough together to get the Tranny rebuilt!

Ordered up a Tow Bar to bring the Jurassic Ranger Jeep up here to OKC for the Tranny repair!

Trying to get her running and painted by Halloween. I already have my Costume for this!

Painting has commenced as well, The "Satin Nickle" is a little more metallic than I was hoping, but I had seen a few other people who used it for Trail JP Jeeps and Crawlers with pretty good success. Still going with the plan to Rattle can the actual paint job then hit it with a few layers of a good clear coat since I'll still use it for trails, mudding, hunting.

Thanks, I'm super excited to finally get it finished up. The check finally hit my bank to get the Transmission fixed at Blumenthols so I should have it up here in OKC being picked apart Tue or Wed.

Going to get started welding on the stinger next week as well I think & rewire my light bar so all my lights work again.

Mirrors painted and light bar back on her. I'm waiting to paint wheels until after tranny repair so I can drive it forward and back to be sure I get them fully.

Well here she is! $2300 later to Blumenthals she has new Drive Lines and a new Transmission under her. I wasn't able to get the stinger welded up with the brush gaurd, or even get her clear coated yet....

But due to my camaro just being in a wreck my Jurassic ranger Jeep will be my primary vehicle for a little while, and at least she is fairly finished for Halloween.

Drove her to work for the first time.

I did my hard top in Monstaliner Jeep Spice. It's going back on this weekend.

Ya that's on my "To-Do" list as well, but I had just re-done the top with the black bed-liner, so top refinish & stinger refinish went to the back of the list.

I still need to:

CLEAN the 3 years of just and some junk from the interior
Add new shift boot
Fix headlight (being done today)
Add new wipers since it literally doesn't have any for now (being done today)
Try to lower/eliminate door rattle
Clear Coat her
New roll bar grab handles (short girlfriend needs them to climb aboard.)
Paint and clear coat Wheels
Re-wire light bar
figure out whats slow draining the battery
Re-tune the motorcraft 2150 Carb (getting only a few MPG sadly)
Add in my mirror tags (being done today)
Plenty more I'm surely forgetting.

I still have quite a list to do with mine. Mostly hoses, change coolant, new serpentine belt, and new battery/alternator/battery cables.
