I dont want to be a critic, i want to be a helping eye. Now that i have said that the front line of the front stripe needs to be fixed. The stripe has a 90 degree angle when it hits the front fender flare, it does not follow the angle of the stripe like it is now. Its looking great!

I totally noticed that when I laying out my lines. I'm betting that was just the paint guy doing it without a laser line. (seeing as how the weren't really around in 93 ;)

I am choosing to ignore that particular angle and stick with the pure side angle.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll check the angles again as the front doesn't seem to run parallel with the back, so one is definitely off. I'll also get a side shot with the back lines.

I was wondering about the top line on the finder. So if that comes out at a straight 90, that should be an easy fix.

I was really worried about the curve on the side of the hood, but the cool thing with the laser is that once I set my two reference points, the laser projected what feels like the perfect curve.

And Heartattack, most definitely!

Hey Guy's, in need of some help. I'm nearing the end of installing my soft top and I've gotten my door skins on, however, when I put the frame into the door (with or without the inserts) the front leg keeps the skin from touching door. I was just about to get out the grinder and shorten the leg, but wanted to make sure it wasn't supposed to be that tall.

Do you have a picture? Could is simply be because the skin needs to stretch a bit more?

I could take another if this one isn't clear, but it's like the corner is still a good ways away.

I know I sometimes have difficulty in the front peg to get it all in, but after some wiggling it usually fits. If I can find my ruler, I can take a measurement, but I really don't think you should have to cut anything.

I'll give it another shot. I'll measure what I've got on this one. I got a good deal on the frames off ebay and wasn't sure of the brand.

The factory door frames are four inches long on the two rear and six inches long on that front one.
