We just need to get you the right steering wheel and right light bar and you'll have one of the most accurate replicas out there!

Very nice indeed. :D Another one to confuse the masses throughout Oklahoma. The Jeep looks fantastic.

Imagine my surprise when I had a customer come into Radio Shack today and ask......"Is J.T. here?"

5 min later.......he showed me a pic on his phone and it was you!!!! I looked at him and said......"Oh....now I understand......you mean RatRace!!"

This guy came into the store today to do some phone shopping, and somehow mistook our Jeeps as being the same one. Nice guy....but apparently didn't notice that our numbers and paint scheme were very different. ;) Then I went onto show him the pics in my phone from that day at MoHawk park.

He was rather awestruck that there were so many JP Jeeps in Oklahoma. Guess we should get use to that sort of thing.

You did an awesome job though.........

So when's our next outing??? :P

Peace man.

Mike

Did you use the number decals as stencils? If so, do you know if he had any trouble getting them off?
Go ahead, make fun of my JP jeep. Then all of a sudden a T-rex comes out of nowhere!!!!!!!!............The jeep only sets 4, who's laughing now?

I'm with Mike.
Loving the addition to our ranks and I too am wondering when the next outing will be.
I'll be at DarKon in Tulsa in November (first weekend of) and 'may' bring the Jeep with me for the weekend.

I know, but those dang light bars are like trying to find chicken lips here in Oklahoma. As for the steering wheel, i have been looking at them on ebay and im not sure if i want to pay $50 just yet. Maybe i can find one on a cherekee in the local salvage. Im almost sure i can. There is a Chrysler salvage close to me i need to call.

Yes they were used as stencils and then removed. To listen to him talk they came right off no problem. He painted soon after they were stuck on so im sure there was still some soapy water underneath.

Did some calling around today about a steering wheel. I found a place that has plenty of spice and black but no grey ones as of now. He tells me that there are several Cherokees out back that have steering wheels that have not been removed yet. I was telling him i thought they were the same thing. Are they? Does anyone know? He also sells the center caps separately and also has several black and spice but no grey. He does not sell the horn button hardware though. Im hoping the Cherokees have the same setup so i can rob everything out of one of those. If one has a grey steering wheel.

I have a spare center horn cap...just no 'Jeep' symbol on it.
It's yours if you want it.
