I wouldn't trust a 3000 lb shackle if you have to pull it.. the jeep stock curb weight was 3080 lbs for a sahara.

Yes that is the correct paint code.
If you have a rub on or spray on promoter that should be just fine. There should be a flexer that is mixed into the paint to make it flex with the plastic not crack and chip off. You probably would have used it on your fender flares and running boards. when I bought the green paint for the panels it came mixed in the paint. You can also add it if you like.
Cheers

For recovery i would need a chain to run between the two and pull from the center. If they are good for 3000 lbs a piece then that would be 6000 lbs total. I dont think they would ever be used for anything more than a tie down anyways because i have a winch. Lets focus more on the looks. Yay or Nay?

I'm not a huuuge fan. If they are just for looks, why bother? It's like the obnoxious dudes that keep the giant hi-lifts on their hoods when their Jeep is a commuter vehicle for all but two weekends out of the year.

I was using the fog lights tonight and the head light switch got really hot. Dang! Ever car that i have owned with factory fog lights have this problem. The head lights actually turned off and on several times. Looks like i need to get a new switch and put a relay in the mix somewhere. Anyone else have this issue ?

Do all your lights go out? Interior and main headlights as well? If so I have the same issue, that's why I never use my fogs
