I put the jeep in the "starbird" show, the show is the largest in the area lasting three days. It is alot of fun, with very beautiful cars beyond my reach in price range. It is nice that a JP jeeps gets a trophy in the 4x4 category. The show is setup to give out plagues to the top five in every category. Here is a pic. I have yet posted a picture of myself. For those that have not yet met me, this is what my mug looks like .

Looks like the Expo Center at Expo Square. Awesome! It also looks like you washed and waxed her; she's a beauty.

Actually no wax.I'm not sure if I will wax it in the future. The flat clear has a texture to it. I think wax will fog it over.I waxed the sand beige after it got a good buff when I first got it.wax seems to do good on the beige.

Its time to change my lifters out and it looks like i have to remove the cylinder head to get to them. I am not looking forward to this but the wrench turning starts this weekend. The engine only has 120,000 miles but changing lifters seems to be a easy topic to find on the web. Im thinking its the weak design of the 4.0 engine. The web says its no big thing and only a day project if you have the parts to put back. I do not have the parts to put back because i want to see if i will need anything else when i get it opened up. I think my jeep will be down for a week.

I ended up changing the lifters, pushrods and rocker arms. The way its designed i think the rocker arms will need changed at the same time as lifters on anyones engine. One major problem is that you can not get good parts. After 80 miles one of the lifters went flat and now i have to take the engine apart again. I guess i should have went with Mopar lifters for $250 vs $100 for sealed power. I have taken pics of before and after but after hasnt really happened yet.

Uh oh new cam time. Don't buy sealed power products. This was the second one that failed and I was just three miles from home. Said "f" it on brought it on in.

Going to gob some grease on the mounting areas. Got this done and the pan ready for removal. Only have two bolts holding it. Going to start raining again
