Nice! Lucky that you got the Power series light, Why not us 35watt Halogen bulb? 20 watts less than a 55w bulb?

Nathan that was my first pair. 817s arent halogen base housings. I got a screen accurate 819 set later and actually removed the halogen base for the base in the photos. even at 20watts less they are brighter than I want. I leave them on all the time at night and I just want a nice accent light. running a 13watt 24 volt bulb is perfect. keeps me within my state laws also. I have the screen accurate shield, I didn't use my homemade one

Excited to find a version 1 Ramsey plate up north and he was also willing to ship it. A Craigslist seller willing to ship.. my lucky day. Put a fresh coat of paint on using SEM trim black. Maybe I'm the only build that has the version one plate..I think so but Kyle Bottorff will be making some replicas soon. I updated some hole measurements for him with this NOS piece.

Top winch plate is the version 1, or the bottom one? (the bottom one is the one Ramsey sold in europe till a few years ago)

The bottom one is version one. Jurassic GOLD. Your Europe friends need to ship these over because they are impossible to find.

Oh I didn't know! Unfortunately they are no longer available in europe. When I bought 2 for me and a friend from the official Ramsey distributor in Belgium, they told me I bought the last ones.
It's funny as sahara parts are extremely rare in europe,Ramsey REP6000's and winch plates are not.

you can still get rep6000s? scalpers here are filling their pockets but unless you can gather a group of either part to ship all at once i bet the shipping would be costly.

Oh yes, I bought 2 rep6000's. They are quite common in france for some reason. Shipping winches is always a problem, even from France to Belgium,so I pick them up if close to the border.

I think we should at least consider a short term business plan to get rep6000 into the states. They run about $250 usd here when you find them but the scalpers turn around and sell them for $700 usd. Or at least I think. If we could provide rep6000s to the US for $500 usd each or less then they would sell like hot cakes. Or Belgium waffles send me a PM if it's worth it.

Re: It was "In the making" but now "It's made"
If these euro rep6000's are easily found in Europe and total cost to California was around $500 I'd be willing to buy 2 plus the winch plates. Hope this gets looked into more...
