The heat works really well in this thing so its not really an issue actually.

Now when it comes to road noise...wow. The difference is night and day (much MUCH loader with the soft top).

I honestly would do the paint before the lightbar.
Thats just me though..

Good luck! Cant wait to see it finished.
I wish people would stop turning random cars into JP "jeeps". Come on, its a jeep for a reason.

you could put it on now and then just paint it all at the same time.
that way you wont be chipping the paint or anything like that when you try to put it together

i'll have to be pretty carful when i put mine together

Havn't been able to do much work recently do to the 3+ feet of snow that fell on Virginia a couple weeks ago.

Today however, it was 50 degrees and sunny so I got back into it. I was able to adjust my doors so they'd close right, remove some gay chrome stuff that had been rusted tight, drill the holes for the fog lights and antenna (didn't put em on yet, waiting for paint), spray paint the bumpers, and finally figure out how to install my new door locks.

I'm just about ready for painting. Still trying to decide how to go about it. Not sure if I'm gonna bring it to somewhere like maaco, rent a garage and do it myself, or just spray paint.

I said screw it and went ahead and put on my fog lights and antenna today. Its gonna be 3-4 weeks before its warm enough outside to paint it (probably, you never know tho ;-) ) so I figured why not.

The only two exterior things besides paint I have left are:

Grab a tap & die set for the windshield frame so I can screw the light bar in.
Get around to grabbing a rear bumper some where ^_^
