Alright so I know it has been a while since I updated but I've been steadily working on the Jeep and I am hoping to have it finished painted pretty soon. Here is a quick update!

Got the half doors fitted.

Image

Image

Installed LED's in the gauge clusters.

Image

Image

Took most of the body apart.

Image

Polished the gauge cluster covers.

Image

Pulled the motor.

Image

Image

Ordered a new 4.0L High Output sticker in red. (Not in the film)

Got brand new OEM mirrors.

Image

Image

Primered them.

Image

Painted the OEM Chrysler Flame Red.

Image

Image

Image

Painted the valve cover.

Image

Filled welds where the old Renegade holes were.

Image

Then with a grinder made the holes flush and sanded.

Image

Image

Image

Then laid down a little primer so I can fill little spots and even everything out.

Image

Image

Also go single piece JP door crests. They are not in layers like the 8 Bit Decals are.

Image

Also got new Jeep decals for the sides.

Image

So where I am at now is basically finished the prep for painting. Should be ready to paint within the next few days. Motor is off at the machine shop and when it it finished I will put it all back together. The Jeep will have fresh paint, a rebuilt motor and a brand new interior. Wish my luck everyone!

I'd like to know as well! I've only ever seen multi-layer and would much prefer (for cleaning purposes) single layer.

Its looking hella good so far!

All the support from you guys is still greatly appreciated lol

I had them made locally. There is a shop that specializes in automotive stickers and I brought them the digital file of the high quality image I pulled from this forum, told them the dimensions and they printed it on a single piece instead of having it made in layers. They saved it on file for me too just in case I ever need them replaced.

They are white. They do look a little blue in the pics. I think it is because the OEM bulbs look so orange lol. When the gauges are installed again after paint I will take some better quality pics on a real camera and not my phone.

Yeah it is like I just wrote to ImperialTrooper I had them made. I can talk to the local shop for a group buy if you guys are interested.

Thanks for your support guys!

A lot of people here might be interested in a group buy. Post up a feeler thread to gauge interest. Maybe even setup a direct buy option from the guy if hes willing to ship directly that way you wont need to do any work.
