I'm pretty new to this forum. Never really had anything to post cause I drive a van but I always wanted to make a JP vehicle out of an Explorer or Jeep but never had the room.
What I did have though was a new factory red Polaris RZR ATV in the garage. So I went to work to make what I call a SRV or "Species Recovery Vehicle".
Its not a tour explorer or a gas jeep for utility work but a narrow vehicle (just 4 feet wide) that can access special trails, and had the resources on board to sedate or kill escaped animals throughout Site A.
It also had the potential to outrun some of the faster dinos if needed (55mph top speed on dirt).
The look of the SRV was obviously a cross influence between the Explorer (stripes along front and back) and the Jeep (the more technical lettering). I used 3M matte green, black and silver to make up the colour scheme and carbon on the dash board and hood for a sporty look.
I included some weapons, tranquilizers and thermal/night vision cameras/monitors for easier dino-spoting, and of course a GPS with the detailed back routes built in.
I made some custom tags and badges for the vehicle and numbered it as #34. I figured none of the Jeeps ventured into the 30's so this is where these special vehicles would fit in.

How much did this all run you?

The Polaris RZR here in Canada was about 14K. The add on were about 5K or so, plus electronic components (which I use off the machine as well).
Then a trailer to haul it with.

Everything about that looks as though it came from a team of world-class designers. That is absolutely phenomenal. The quality of the photography just makes it seem utterly unreal, I feel like I am looking at ARG material from Jurassic Park sequel.

That's easily the coolest original concept ever. And I'm sure it's very functional. What shotgun is that? Looks like a remington 870 with a bunch of aftermarket gear. Is the detachable magazine functional, or does it just look cool? Because it does.

That seriously looks professional. The Polaris itself and the photography. Honestly I think you should work like this and get paid boatloads. I mean, this looks amazing. So much detail and it all goes together perfectly. You did a very nice job and I am very impressed, this is movie worthy indeed. If they do make a JP4, this needs to be in it.

thanks for the kind words.
The shotgun onboard is based on the remington but is a Norinco and the magazine is fully functional. It folds up nice and small and can hold 5 shots per mag, They weigh a ton but otherwise are accurate as snot with a slug.

I wish I could get paid to do this (and so does the wife when I'm spending hours in the garage welding and applying "stickers")
