I need help...

Alright I was able to tear into my jeep today with my father in law, well we fixed the hot wire on the battery and eleminated the fire hazzard, but when we started to fix the gauges to get them to work we started with the oil pressure, but they cut the wire on the female connector, could someone post a picture of their oil pressure connection so we can see where it's wired so we can get it hooked up, or send me a link that shows us how to hook it up? I would appreciate ANY help I can get....

I have no pictures but with my experience I am telling this
The Sending unit that is currently on the engine has 2 red wires...One Red goes directly to the Automatic choke. A main red wire was spliced into the Hot wire on the Amp gauge. Splitting off this Hot wire is a 2 more red wires. One going to a dead end (towards the distributor) and one to the Transmission. The purple wire has been unplugged on both ends..There is also a fitting on the unit to allow for a mechanical gauge to be installed which is what I have now
