My guy charged me $600 for the paint and $2900 for the job.

Have you thought about investing in the tools to do that? Might save you on future touch ups or other JP projects..

That is a SMOKING deal for a full paint job. Did he get your door jambs and under the trim?Stlrams53 wrote:My guy charged me $600 for the paint and $2900 for the job.

Hey! Great TJ! I'm slowly trying to bring mine up to spec before making all the JP cosmetic changes. I'm in MA as well, would love to meet up and pick your brain (and get your paint guys number). Fantastic!
Re: Jurassic Jeep - TJ Complete
Hey thanks man ! Well im leaveing for a 2 week vacation this saturday but when im back it would be cool to meet up! I'll try to hit the guy up that did it for me & see if he would be interested in doing it again. He is one of my fathers friends so im not sure what hes up to now, cause when i brought the project to him he had nothing going on.

Sweet Jeep!
I'm currently looking at Wranglers now...I've had 4 YJ's in the past, but I'm considering going with a TJ for a JP build. My low back is fubar'd and I know how bad those leafs beat me up. If I go that route, I'll try to find a Desert Sand Pearlcoat model to save on the painting cost.
I have a few Q's for you:
How did you do your stripe layout? or did the paint guy do them from pics?
Where did you get your hood and door decals from?
Thanks! Ron

FWIW, I've got the Old Man Emu setup on my YJ, and compared to stock or some of the other setups on the market it rides like a Cadillac.kokopelli wrote:Sweet Jeep!
