Thanks ! and i gave my guy alot of pics from the movie & other pics of a few JP TJs, and my decals and everything are the 8bit ones off ebay.kokopelli wrote:Sweet Jeep!
I'm currently looking at Wranglers now...I've had 4 YJ's in the past, but I'm considering going with a TJ for a JP build. My low back is fubar'd and I know how bad those leafs beat me up. If I go that route, I'll try to find a Desert Sand Pearlcoat model to save on the painting cost.
I have a few Q's for you:
How did you do your stripe layout? or did the paint guy do them from pics?
Where did you get your hood and door decals from?
Thanks! Ron

The red looks good did you prep the area good before you painted? I would have takin a wire wheel to the area and parts then painted

I came here two years too late. Is there anyone from this post still active? I am currently undergoing a TJ build myself and it would be nice to talk to Stlrams53 or anyone else that knows about this Jeep. Thanks.

I don't think you're late- actually I expect things to start buzzing with IV coming next year.crayZcollegeKid wrote:I came here two years too late. Is there anyone from this post still active? I'm in your area, in Louisville. If I can help or answer any questions let me know. I know quite a bit about Jeeps- have had several of them and worked on them all.

Re: Jurassic Jeep - TJ Complete
Nice TJ! I am working on turning my 06 LJ Rubicon (Unlimited) into a JP rig too and this one helps me actually see some of the finner points like the dreded Red stripe. . I plan on keeping mine the stock "dark metalic khaki" and will have all the decals and stripes in black and the Park decal will be in the standard collor. I even have an explination of why my rig will "look so different" from the Standard "Gas Jeeps" in the Parks Fleet written up in my thread. Again keep up the Good Work! It looks SWEET!
Re: Jurassic Jeep - TJ Complete
I always thought it would be cool to do a TJ But make the door logo say, JURASSIC PARK "SAN DEIGO" ,seeing as how INgen was building the park already, i always fantasized they had a fleet of TJ's ready to go!
