Got some links? al i can find are way to expensive
It's really strange about the availability of these now. I snagged an open box Tamiya in August and felt like I got a good deal for $64 shipped from Japan. I see them now on Amazon for ~$44 shuipped from Japan http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PY ... G8O6K63K1Q The seller Shining Sun has shipping rates listed for USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, etc but I don't see anything for Australia. I don't know if they're either just clearing out their inventory or don't know what they have?

I might try and mold and cast some of the parts for this and create a 1:24 Lost World Jeep like this:

But I've got a ton of projects going on right now so who knows if I'll actually get around to it....

Yep thats the one I saw, I paid 60 something for mine (plus shipping) when I bought it a year or so ago.... SO $44 through amazon is a deal!

As soon as everyone started buying it using that link the seller noticed and raised the price. Maybe i think our community is larger than it is but it does seem to effect the price on jp jeep related items.

SlyRobot, the light bar is made of round styrene rod (don't remember the size though) and the lights I bought through policecarmodels.com, they're made of "white metal". The winch is also (larger) styrene rod with some washers on the ends and wire wrapped around it. The roller fairlead turned out a little large, mainly because I made it fit around the front license plate bracket...but I'm happy with it.
