Re: It was "In the making" but now "It's made"
I went to the steel place and got them to use a track torch to cut out the custom hooks. I have already went through one cutting wheel on my Dotco cleaning up the edges. I started with a hammer and a chisel to remove the stuff from the edges then i use the Dotco to round the edges of the cuts. I will need a belt sander to do the rounded sides. This is the photo of what they looked like right after i brought them home. They dont look so good, but i think they will clean up nice.

to clean the slag off from the plasma cutter get yourself a bench grinder first knock off the slag with the grind stone then clean the parts with the wire wheel for a good weld

It is 1/2 inch plate. Plasma cutter might have been better than torch. I have never seen one in use before but it might have saved me some time. I would not need a belt sander if the cut would have been better

The two pieces were sand blasted, taped together and then a hole drilled at the top of the plate notch. I tightened the bolt up so that the whole thing would not move and then it was ground down with a table grinder and then belt sanded. I just center punched the hole up front and plan on using a hack saw for the notch after i get the hole drilled.

Re: It was "In the making" but now "It's made"
I finished up with the upper pieces today and marked out the hole positions for the mounting plates. After i got them finished i realized they would look better in a different position. So it took me most of the day to lay out two holes twice.
This is how the upper pieces and my new ramsey decal turned out. I positioned one on top of the other to get a idea of how high it will be sitting with the mounting plate welded under it.

Looks awesome, you'd be the first replica that has these.
