Got my T-red style Jeep decals



Applying the door decals



As it stands now mainly put back together. Still got stuff to do, but at least I can drive it for now. Or at least until I dismount the wheels for powdercoating.



First drive with the exterior paint scheme! After trooping a million events as a stormtrooper with the 501st, I had a good idea what to expect as far as kid's reactions. I was totally right!

Bad ass man! I like how you made it your own while keeping true to the theme. I probably would have done a couple of things different but that's why it's yours and not mine haha! The decals stick well to the monsterliner? I'm still on the fence about doing it "screen accurate" or having some fun with it. Would definitely be cheaper to roll on a paint job myself. Hmm.

Yeah some bedliners dry to a kind of rubbery feel, the Monstaliner turns rock hard like an epoxy. Decals were no problem at all, just place them and I like to roll them out with a rubber brayer.

I know my color balance is all crummy, because my color calibration from Mac to Windows is off.

BUT, I met up with another member of the JP Motorpool today, and got a pic of mine next to an actual Sand Beige YJ. I think this confirms for sure that the "Desert Sand" is indeed the closest Monstaliner color to the Sand Beige.

in that lighting it looks the same, great job. I have family in TX and they tell me they see JP jeeps. I would bet i am looking at one of them.

thats a lot of red. Any plans to flip the tires so the white letters face out? The build looks good

P.S. James' YJ isn't sand beige, it's that rio grande silver/champagne

oh yeah....i agree. White letters out would be much better if your tires have them.
