1992 YJ Sahara My New Baby
Re: 1992 YJ Sahara My New Baby
You will find the paint will be shinier under the stripes.
But I don't think it will be that bad on a low gloss color.

That's what I was thinking. I would just hate to have the look ruined by the stripe marks and badge marks.

Went Jeepin' with my buddy in the Sonoran Desert. It is about 15 minutes away from my community. We drove along some trails near the Sonoran Desert National Monument. It was fun! I managed to get the thing stuck pretty bad in a sand wash. However, me and my buddy made some make shift traction ramps out of tree branches and brush and we climbed right out in 4x4 low. Needless to say my love for the jeep has grown stronger again!

Nice looking Jeep.
why someone would put a chrome grille on a light colored jeep is beyond me. I think it looks good on like a dark blue or green jeep, but not on a light colored one.
I'd say step 2 is get that grille painted.
step 1 being replacing those rectangle bumber lights! you'd think they would fit in with the rectangle head lights, but they def need to be round.

Tell me about it man. I hate the rectangle lights. I think the original owner busted the originals and replaced them with these. I am having a very tough time finding an original replacement.

What about those ones that Dan posted that are on ebay? those seem decent.
Re: 1992 YJ Sahara My New Baby
Yeah they are pretty nice for around $50. If you want the factory ones, he does offer them for $250.00, as he mentions in his listing.cklinejr wrote:What about those ones that Dan posted that are on ebay? those seem decent.

Oh wow those are nice for the price. I think I will go with those. I'm wondering if my current fogs would be decent to use as the amber ones above the tailights?

Cant see what the mounting bracket looks like, but Im sure they would work great. they look like about the right size.
take them off and hold up them up back there, see how they look.
