I have decided to build a Jurassic Park themed Wrangler trailer to tow behind my jeep when I go to shows, camping, etc. I already have pretty much every part I need to build this, so I figured why not. I picked up this tub for $100 locally and it is perfect for a trailer. It also just happened to fit perfectly in the back of my friend’s V10 Ram 2500…

As it sits today, the tub is just resting on the old frame (not mounted down yet). The tub is pretty much rust free and the floors are already rhino-lined. I plan to strip down and POR15 the old frame before actually bolting the tub down. The frame will be cut just behind the upper shock towers in the front. I will weld in the new rails for the tow section.

I picked up a tailgate, tail lamps, and license plate bracket for it for $20. I bolted the tailgate on, but won’t be installing the rest of it until after I paint it. I plan to keep the diamond plate and stainless steel hinges on the back, I think it gives it a rugged look for a trailer.

As I mentioned before I’m building this completely out of extra parts that I have from my build. I haven’t finished the renderings for my paint job yet, but I plan to keep it with the Jurassic Park Jeep theme. Suggestions for the paint job and numbering system are welcome. I have a set of full doors, an extra brand new bestop softop and frame, 5 extra aluminum jeep rims (not shown in the picture), etc. I also have a hardtop if I ever wanted to put that on. Pretty much everything I would need for a cool looking trailer.
The goal is to build something styled similar to this. You have to go to the link to see it as the image is copyrighted so I can’t post it here.

Let me know what you all think and if you have suggestions for my trailer build. I am also debating the location of the front stripe (as there aren’t going to be fenders) as well as I cannot decide how to number the trailer…
