Re: Australian YJ #23
Well big progress today! Managed to get roof off with beams under house and motorbike tie downs, only had to lift it a half inch then drive out from under it. Got windscreen tilted to straighten up my vin plate holder. I think half doors are next on the agenda.

Can anyone tell me what the tie downs might be for in the foot wells?

Never mind. My new bit of candy I ordered for the glove box turned up today and it shows in there how to restrain the roll bar tubes from windscreen down there for driving with it down.

Been a while since my last post. Been super busy with work and haven't had a chance to jeep haha. However a big ticket item for me has finally arrived, should compliment the build nicely.

Finally worked out my mirror tag today (after a bit of trial and error printing to scale on odd sized photo paper and buying myself a laminator). Had a huge smile on my face once I put it in

Finally getting some time to get back to the Jeep, managed to find a screen accurate winch in the country, pretty happy with that. I have fully stripped, cleaned and rebuilt it, almost finished the painting and then to get a new cable and some decals from the site printed up. I've also managed to score five screen accurate rims, giving me a total of 6. I'm now on the hunt for half doors so I can start the big job of prepping for paint.

Ok so I owe you some commission lol. I've scored the rims off this jeep in the Gold Coast as he wants to change axles and wheels. (I actually tried to buy the whole Jeep before I found mine, he refused to part with it.)
