Re: Australian TJ #14

Re: Australian TJ #14
im thinking about painting the cases of my lights LJ1 like you would with jabscos. sound like a good idea?
Re: Australian TJ #14
i'd never seen an actual spice top until i opened the box. its a really different colour in person. it also seems very loose but i think i just went to the extreme of "install on a sunny day".

Finally found an Aussie source for our antennas too mate. Still need to find a supplier for the ball and spring tho.
Codan HF radios make a 2.6m stainless tapered whip which converts to a convenient 102.3".
This guy sells them out of Melbourne on eBay. And there's a few Australian HF radio supply stores online that stock it too. It won't work on a CB obviously, but Im not even going to install a radio. Just have antenna for show.

found this one on ebay which seems to be exactly what everyone else uses:

i still want the option of using it with a radio even though i cant think of where the hell i'd mount one at this stage

my bestop replacement bow set arrived and its goon from loose to insanely tight. its a little better after it sat in the sun on a 40c day, but getting those plastic bits out of the door surrounds still requires a scredriver or a very sore finger. ANYWAY what was easily the most bang for my buck modifaction was done today:ausjeep wrote: it also seems very loose but i think i just went to the extreme of "install on a sunny day".
goodbye 18 year old POS tape deck, hello brand new CD player that lets my upgraded speakers unleash their full potential.
it lets me blast the theme so it still sounds loud at 110 k's an hour with the top down. i had an expensive FM transmitter for my ipod and it still couldn't get half as loud as this.

You think your cassette deck was cool, check out the state of the art unit in mine! Electronic tuning. No turning the tuning knob for me lol
Did you order your bestop stuff online? Also where did you manage to score the Ramsey?
