Hiya Aussie :D I'm also making a TJ build at the moment and I gotta say good job finding the winch. The parts left for me are the wheels, tan roll bar pads, winch, decals and paint. I'll be checking up on your build progress, looking good man.

it wasn't a cracked hose, it was a blown water pump. so new pump, new radiator, new hoses and everything is running smoother than when i bought it

Matte, satin, gloss: it doesn't matter

there is only one true finish for any jeep:

(i've decided to go gloss because someone has offered to let me use their 50% staff discount, but they only stock regular gloss finishes)

I'm digging the euro guards, might have to pick up a set.
Are your side logos magnetic or the actual decal?

And oh my, she needs a wash haha.

Hey there Ausjeep!

Stoked to see another Aussie on here :D, what part of the country are you from mate?

Where'd you spot the YJ? I can remember our local Video Ezy (our version of Blockbuster Video for the rest of you) had a HUGE display with 'electric fences' and crude paper mache raptors and camouflage nets and everything when Jurassic Park hit VHS, and they also had a brand new YJ Sahara (albeit the wrong colour, it was olive-y green) and an Explorer with vinyl stickers to look kind of like the movie ones. So there was at least one over here lol.

Congrats on your build progress so far, I'm jealous!

Cheers.

I'm in Adelaide. it was on car sales but its long gone. i've been keeping one eye on the ausjeepoffroad.com for sale section. there are some, but everyone i've seen has been modified

but if you really, really want one check the UK version of gumtree and you might find a RHD version worth importing
