Yeah, Ive heard that too. Im figuring a 30/31" should be ok. I hear it mostly about the larger 33/35" tires. And the heavier tires like Super Swampers and steel wheels.
I wonder what they used in the movie. Didnt they have larger than stock BFGs on them? I know they had matching spares.

Question for you guys with larger than stock tires. How did you get them to mount to the factory spare tire carrier? I just put some 235/75/15s on my YJ tonight and I used one of the older 235/70/15 as a spare and it will not fit. It hits the rubber bumpers before there is even enough to get the lug...
