Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
10/08/11 - Registered the Jeep at the Nevada DMV under license plate "JP 12". Plates should arrive in about 4 weeks. In the meantime I will be making the custom front license plate, I got the correct base plate to use. If anyone has access to a vinyl cutter and is willing to make me the templates or...

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
Rest assured I don't leave anything valuable in my jeep. I take out the stereo faceplate, and don't even have a center console. I may even be moving houses in the near future. One that will have a 3 door garage to fit the Jeep

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
09/30/11 - Got the Jeep back from the shop. It drives so much better and smoother. I also received some JP crest magnets to use until I can afford a real paint job and decals. Someone already made a comment and asked if a new theme park was opening around Vegas, or if I was a JP employee. I loled. h...

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
You might look at your local hardware store. I purchased the recessed torx bolts at my local ace hardware. I haven't had time to stop by the dealership. I'll checkout my local hardware stores first then, wasnt sure if they carried Torx but it's worth a shot before spending a fortune at a dealership...

Re: Boomerjinks' Jeep 18
Sorry to see that the Jeep took a beating during the road trip.
My seats are also ripped up the same, I may end up having them remade from new materials so it lasts longer and wont have a faded look.

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
09/28/11 - Replaced the passenger side mirror because it was loose. Found out that the TJ mirrors have a slightly different base so I'll be stopping by the Jeep dealership tomorrow to pickup some longer bolts to accommodate for the extra length needed.

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
I could have it done a lot sooner, but there are a few issues with the car that are hindering progress. I got a quote from my shop... $300 for parts and labor to remove the headers and re-weld it. And there are some bad squeaking noises when I drive and I can't figure them out. I am gonna go back to...

Re: Manny's JEEP 12 build
09/25/11 - Discovered a crack on the headers. Possible exhaust leak. Will get a shop to weld it back up. Also found two oil leaks. One from the rear differential, and one from the auto transmission pan.
