Re: CT JP15
Honestly I bet the paint guy just eyeballed the lines, laser levels werent exactly a common item in 1992 ;) So even when they were created I bet they could have been different by a few degrees on differnt vehicles, if it looks good in person which pictures make me think so, then thats all that matte...

Re: CT JP15
If you measured the angle of the stripe from the floor, that may be why it is different. Every jeep will have different amounts of sag/lift based on the suspension when you go to layout the stripes. You can get some of those truck bed liners in colors, why not just get the rhino line in green, then you dont hav to paint what you just put down.

Re: Kentucky Jeep #22
that winch is a lot smaller than the real one. 3500 lb winches are made for atv's , so they are a lot smaller in all dimensions. just fyi. Ohh and you wont might have trouble finding mounting plates for it, so you'll either have to modify one, or make one.(Im not sure the mount holes on those atv wi...

Re: how did you paint your jeep? rattle can or spray gun?
that would be rustoleum for those south of the border (roll on method)
I used plastidip for my stripes/wheels/hood stamp until I can do a real spray job. (tan is paint, but its the shiney champagne, so it needs redo, all red is plastidip)

if you aren't planning on using the winch much the hawse fairlead really cleans up the front instead of the roller fairlead. Looks awesome!

Re: Kid and Son's jeep for our JP Build
I wired my rears independently. Fresh wiring from battery to relay to switch in dash and the rears. I choose to not consider them "off road use only" so I did not put a dimmer on them. If you want to use them on the road since they are fog lights you will need a dimmer unless you like tickets ;) htt...

Re: Kid and Son's jeep for our JP Build
. Finley something my son wants to do other than computers. Lol. I now that feeling. Since you know you aren't going canon, if you and son think it looks good go for it. I love beefy jeeps. I think the key to making a non canon jeep look good is just making it look professional.. Like hammond says ...
