Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build

Vic, I love the seats, just so damn comfy and look great. Sadly I had to pay money for that work, but I justified it. And no worries, every JP build that isn't lucky enough to start out with original pouches needs to get some of yours! Leethallee, I don't think I could sell the alloys at the moment,...

Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build

Alrighty then, another photo and text dump of Jeep stuff incoming. Once again a good amount of time has elapsed since my last post here in the build thread for JP90 but that doesn't mean the Jeep has been sitting idly by. Over the winter we saw a good amount of snow here in Vancouver, not just limit...

Re: JKU JP19

Nice updates! I've never seen an ARB thrashed like that before, hopefully they can supply you with the stuff you need to get it working again. Don't they have some sort of bulletproof warranty? And sweet backup/ditch lights, and Rigid too, those are some quality pieces! When I get around to lighting...

Re: JP12 Build - Middle Georgia

Yeah, you win, that is one super duper clean Jeep YJ you have there; perfect starting point. What is up with the soft top? That looks like an OD Green to my eyes and OEM I believe as well. I have never seen one in that colour and it looks great.

Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build

True, philosoraptor I agree. Tho, I feel like having a locker at least in the rear is what makes the difference between a capable adventure Jeep and a regular one. Don't get me wrong all Jeep are awesome but when you're running around with everything 4 wheel parts sells with a stock diff. Well... N...

Congrats on finding your set of proper wheels! That didn't take all too long.

Neat to see the stripes coming together. Any reason you chose to do the red before the sand?

Re: JKU JP19

The plate looks good in the original colours. I guess where you're situated you don't have to run a proper front plate from the DMV?

Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! Happy thanksgiving! Very thorough and great overall post. And as a photographer/cinematographer let me tell you how amazing your photos are. It's refreshing to see properly composed photos on the internet. Yeah, I tend to update in batches. And thanks, when I ...

Re: Kytor Industries JP17

It isn't a project Jeep until it has worn mismatched panels, haha!

The paint process looks like it is coming along great! As for the measurements I used them as guidelines and applied my own reasoning where applicable. I think you'll be fine with your solution.

Re: 1988 YJ Laredo Edition Build to JP18

And aren't some of the JK wheels nice 5 spokes as well? They would look nice in red and would be close enough in my books. Also a big plus 1 for using the SpiderTrax spacers if you decide to go that route. Off-road setups and spacers usually result in a heated argument but at least they are proper h...
