Re: Explorer Build Thread - Jacksonville FL
Thanks Trevor! It's a much slower process than the Jeep because the parts are either much harder to find or things need to be custom made (which is $$$$)

Re: JP #22
I might scoop a Motorola or 2 off you if you decide to sell. I actually found my King Pelican a few months back pretty cheap. Posted a picture of it on my Explorer build thread. When a screen accurate part pops up you have to buy it, even though I’m nowhere near completing my build.

Re: JP #22
Definitely need to get you a one piece light bar. Wouldn't stress too much about screen accuracy if you're sticking with the 2 piece!
Post some photos of the pelican and motorola! Been looking for a Motorola myself.
Hope the Jeep transaction goes well my friend!

Re: JP #22
you can always get the plate later down the road and weld it on if you decide to get lights. But i'd recommend the one piece light bar but thats because i'm a stickler for making things look like the movie. I'm not sure how anyone has theirs wired up honestly. I sold my JP18 right as I found my REP6...

Re: JP #22
I ordered a light bar from them without the tabs for the Jabscos. Unless you're going to put lights on your Jeep, i wouldn't get the tabs. And i believe even if you were to put lights on the bar you'd actually weld and entire plate to the light bar. My light bar did not have any holes in it other th...

Try giving them a call if they don't reply to your email. I understand military life can get in the way sometimes, i've been in for 13 years and counting.

Re: JP #22
Solid base! Would you be removing the lift? Totally my personal opinion but I would repaint it with the low gloss sand beige. Its such a beautiful Jeep, would look amazing as a closer to screen accurate build. for the light bar, i'll always recommend Jamiesons Fabrication. You can find their informa...
