Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build
Well, it has been some time since my last update! I have still been lurking the forums but not posting as much. I still have JP90 and it's running like a champ. I have shifted focus on to the LJ though and building it up. Also unfortunately about a year back the cops gave me a ticket for a vehicle i...

That is an excellent build and well documented with some nice photos! Picking it up and driving it home sounds like a fun trip and a good way to get to know your new Jeep.

Indeed, it looks great! Any pictures of the 'inbetween' stages of completing the work?

Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build
Hello again! Jeep things that have happened since last time... First off since the winter I have had a dent in my driver fender when I hit a snowbank. So with the help of my father, he helped bodywork it out to the original shape and painted to match. http://i.imgur.com/oT6mA3P.jpg http://i.imgur.co...

Re: My cheap Jurassic Jeep build
Nicely done! Your JP Jeep looks great. And neat breakdown of the costs, you must have found some good deals on parts, and consider yourself lucky you had a Jeep with half doors already, those cost at least $600+ for a decent set up here.

Doin' some great work there, always nice to see someone rescue a Jeep from the clutches of that cancerous rust!

Re: Philosoraptor's Canadian JP#90 Build
Minor updates. New front driveshaft from Tom Woods arrived. Custom built to spec, so proper length, extended splines, bigger OD plus heavier gauge tubing and greaseable u-joints all at an affordable cost. Also finalized hi-lift mounting on the rear bumper, had to move the spare tire mount an inch re...

Re: Jeep #29 in Sweden
Great progress so far and I like the writeup! I agree, looks like you got a good starting point with the Jeep you found. Looking forward to seeing more work get done, for someone who isn't a mechanic you seem to be doing alright! Springs sure are a pain in the ass if they haven't been changed in yea...
