Re: Electric Fence Buzzer

Unfortunately when JPL was taken down my more detailed thread went with it. Some extra pictures of the exact model of filter I used to get the correct size buzzer. Anyone interested I can get some more accurate measurements for the bracket with no parallax error from the camera. First picture is a s...

Re: Electric Fence Buzzer

Hey mate. They are Federal Signal 191x lights. You can't buy them to take a bulb anymore (new model is LED) and they are now black instead of the correct grey (mine were black and I had to completely rebuild them). I must warn you brand new they are $350 usd! Even second hand they are around $100, y...

Re: Australian YJ #23

Ok so I owe you some commission lol. I've scored the rims off this jeep in the Gold Coast as he wants to change axles and wheels. (I actually tried to buy the whole Jeep before I found mine, he refused to part with it.)

Re: Australian YJ #23

Finally getting some time to get back to the Jeep, managed to find a screen accurate winch in the country, pretty happy with that. I have fully stripped, cleaned and rebuilt it, almost finished the painting and then to get a new cable and some decals from the site printed up. I've also managed to sc...

Re: Electric Fence Buzzer

Hey not too much more to report on this project unfortunately, I've fitted and tested the 12v globes, they work great, it's just hard to photograph with my phone. I've also used several HD screen shots to scale the insulator assembly for the behind the top light from known measurements of the lights...

Re: Electric Fence Buzzer

Hey mate, not as of yet, I'm currently working on the big insulator on the other side of the beam to the lights and buzzer. I have managed to sandblast the black powder coating off the light bodies, then etch prime and re-paint them the correct colour. had to delicately remove the ID plates and re a...

Next big ticket item are the half doors, not having much luck finding someone keen to ship them here, thinking of asking the forum and motor pool for help soon with the bits I need ...

Re: gear cases...

Hey guys, Sorry to necro-post, don't want to start a ton of threads about the same item. So I've scored myself a grey Pelican 1600 and want to make this prop obviously. I'm slowly building a maxabeam from spares I've been finding online (hoping it will be cheaper that way) and I have an extinguisher...
