Re: Pennsylvania JP18

Picked up a Ramsey Rep-6000 yesterday. Needs to be gone over and a few minor repairs made. But overall it works and was a steal at $200.

I think the cost was around $400 for a gallon including the hardener and adhesion promoter for the plastic parts. Because of the low gloss being mixed ...

Re: Pennsylvania JP18

I used PPG Sand Beige Metallic (Low Gloss). It is the correct color for the 1992 Sahara that was used for filming.

It's actually Satin Colonial Red from Rustoleum. I looked at a ton of screen shots, and also figured that props personnel use the cheapest methods possible to create the effect. Luckily, it worked out.

Here is our 1992 Wrangler. When we got her, she was in rough shape. While still not complete, she's a lot better than she was. Re: JP jeep in MD

Looks awesome. I saw your Jeep in person when I was at Jacks picking up my decals/stencils. He does amazing work. I have the ability and shop space to do mine, or I would have had him do it. I just used his stencil last night and it came out great. Anyway, congrats on the awesome Jeep.
