JP Costumes at Nashville TN Movies in the Park Event

The Jurasssic Park "Movies in the Park event in Nashville went very well with a big turnout of both visitors and costumed enthusiasts. This was my first chance to debut my 'Muldoon' as well. I've been asked to do it again for a Clarksville TN Movies in the Park featuring Jurassic Park on 30 July.

Bossk's Jeep 18 at Movies in the Park, Nashville, June 25th

Short notic I'mm afraid, but I will be bringing my Jeep 18 to Elmington Park on the Westside of Nashville TN this Thursday, June 25th for a showing of Jurassic Park. We should also have about 10 characters from the various Jarassic themed films, and the more the merrier. I'm hoping they won't cancel...

Re: Jurassic Park Theme Night: SI Miners (Southern IL)

I don't come here this often so imagine I already missed this, but if not, I might be interested. I live on the KY-TN border by Clarksville so that's not too terrible a drive if you could help out with the gas. I also have a 15 foot tall Jurassic Park Gateway, but needs to be set up against a wall f...

Re: Not exactly a Pterodactyl, but another recent prop I built

Damn! Do you have a video of this thing in action? Is the dragon's neck steel armored too? That costume must weigh a ton No video yet, but wish we did while it was together and on display. Just too much was going on with me trying to set up three big displays. I will definately make some video next...

Re: Bossk's Jurassic Gate Prop and Jeep #18 at Cincy Comic Expo

Nice! Do you have a larger picture? When you display your Jeep do you have to pay for a booth or do the organizers solicit you to display it there? At this event the organizers provide the booth and cover the other expenses like my room and gas costs. In this case though, I also provided the dragon...

Not exactly a Pterodactyl, but another recent prop I built

I also brought this 25 foot long armored dragon and rider to the Cincy Expo, which was just completed in time. It is actually a one person, walking costume. The rider's legs are actually the dragon's, and on stilts dry wall stilts built into the dragon's legs. The dragon's head is moved side to side...

Bossk's Jurassic Gate Prop and Jeep #18 at Cincy Comic Expo

I just returned from Cincinatti where I was a guest of the Cincy Comic Expo, and had a chance to display my Jeep with the nearly completed Gateway prop. I will be adding faux flaming torches next, and the doors will be about two feet highter. I will also be adding more jungle foliage and maybe a jun...

Re: Beaver dam kentuckys JP25

Great job on your build Kadeg! It is good to see another JP jeep so close, as mine is in Fort Campbell, KY, which I think is just a bit over an hour away from from my location. I will let you know the next time we are doing something in the area. Mine has been invited to various conventions in the r...

Re: WIP: 2-man 22 foot long Triceratops prop/costume

An old thread, but I noticed that I never posted a photo of the completed costume/prop as requested. (I had been absent quite awhile as I had trouble logging in). Here it is, at least the original Star Wars version. It is a functional two person costume, and when walking the tail sways realistically...

Re: Bossk's Jeep #10

hey quick qustion, where did you find that tire cover? Hey Scout, sorry for not seeing this sooner. I have deleted the correspondence now, but I just googled one of those internet places that prints custom tire covers and sent them an image of the JP logo to do the cover. Basically, they are made i...
