Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
Honestly I think you got: A a theater manager who is scared of doing anything without corporate approval and B corporate that is scared to do anything in the wake of aurora... which was a cinemark theater. and maybe even C two people who didn't understand you were trying to share your vehicles with...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
Gonna sound like a broken record here....but that silly theater contacted me again. Yes....the IMAX. And even after repeated contact with their Manager, and the IMAX main website, here was their response.... Hello – Can you please forward us with pictures of the vehicles? How many vehicles are you r...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
You do have a point bud. And doing it right is correct......but apparently the only thing the IMAX doesn't do right is return emails to their patrons. Either way is good for me.....but my kids caught wind of what the Claremore Theater is doing, and they have already given me their opinion. ;) ...

I've received my third email back from that IMAX theater with the same style message.........typically consisting of "yah, it sounds like a good idea, but let us get back with you." Now.....you guys remember when some of us got together a...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
That's awesome Drew. Both Raul and myself have emailed Cameron back before this weekend got here, so we're still playing the waiting game. However there may be a contingency plan in effect if the answer is no to our inquiries about getting our vehicles up, close, and personal. One week and...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
I mentioned to Raul (TulsaJurassicPark) that I'll secure the parking places.....he secures the free passes. We'll just have to see who is the bigger pain in the ass.

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
The General Manager's name is Cameron Bush. He's emailed me several times so far throughout the month of March. Kathy, who was their former General Manager is no longer with them anymore. That's who I had dealt with in past times. Cameron said he likes the idea of the vehicles being there, but in ou...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
I don't mind the crowds so much. It's always a blast seeing a movie in a crowded theater vs an empty one......especially if it's an old favorite. I think in many cases, the crowd reactions remind me how it was when I first saw that particular movie. Reminds me of it's release day. :D At any rate, I ...

Re: Oklahoma 3D showing
You're probably right. We did however do the exact same thing at "that" theater with Ecto 1 parked up front for their Ghostbuster screening during Halloween. Granted, that IMAX theater has a massive front area that you could damn near fit 3 basketball courts on, and it's always empty.......how cool ...
