Cool thanks for the clarification. I actually meant being able to break a CCU down and make controls like yours. I have a junk second gen explorer that I might nab the CCU and see what happens but they're not cable driven.

Sorry went kayaking and got too much sun . But make the plate and buttons separately so that you could attach switches. I would think that would be hard though.
