Re: Rebel's PNW Explorer Build
Slow going. Attempted to paint my Explorer, using rattle cans. I Definitely Won't be doing that. EVER. Until I can get a Garage and find some good paint when I move. It'll stay Meadow Green and Black for now. Mounted the Spotlight finally. That's. really difficult to get in and screw it tight.

Re: My Explorer Build Blog
The pillar right behind the doors, you could likely fab up a cross brace to keep the entire roof from being all wobbly. But you could keep it hidden as well like the movie.*The squared tan part right before it goes back, That could likely be the roof brace.* I imagine they wouldn't do a hack-job sin...

Re: My Explorer Build Blog
Hahahahaha! I thought the same thing when I saw the white Topless Explorer. That made my day. I'm glad you guys are conquering the roof. I don't have the heart to cut my roof. Although I did talk to a friend who works for Boeing and did say it'd cost about $8K for an accurate bubble if he could do it.

Re: My Explorer Build Blog
That seems more logical, as I don't have the tools to exactly make mounting brackets. Unless they're wood. hah. The LP mount would be the Perfect or near Perfect size. Thank you, seriously.

Re: My Explorer Build Blog
Ahh Okay! I know Exactly where I can get those. How would the sensor/box mount? I would only assume its bolted to the bumper or a hidden bracket of somesort.

Re: My Explorer Build Blog
I would of Never thought of using a battery box. hah! I'm going to look into seeing what the laws are fpr putting things infront of my vehicle as it'd be where the front plate is. We don't have a HobbyLobby here so getting clear domes.. That'll be some searching. ha
