Looking to possibly go for the roof lights, i normally have a roof rack/basket on it for trips, so the bubble roof is out, also legally, the bubble roof would be a big no here.

fast forward 2 weeks and i got my final stickers!
There are of course still some further touches to come, but that brings it up to where it is currently.
and now i can drive it again!

So i got cracking on ...

At this point i still hadnt painted all the bolt on plasics/trimmings so got cracking on that.

Paint Time! More Re-assembly

I decided to Vinyl wrap both the roof and the bonnet, mainly due to the paint being acylic and the top getting the most of the sun, would hopefully make it last better, this car unfortunately lives outside all the time. wrapping the roof was a terrible experience... but it looks ok in photos haha. D...

Then came early mid april 2018, time to begin! Decided i was going to paint the green/yellow as it was the cheapest option, except the bonnet that would be wrapped. So i had the colours matched to the vinyl i was going to use. Day 1 - Dissasemble! 04.jpg Day 2 - Sanding! 05.jpg day 3 - Painting! 06....

Having purchased this car a few months ago as an offroader, i thought why not, seeing a JP Explorer out bush would be enough to make me laugh, and seeing as all of the details required to complete it are readily available via the motorpool, i decided to just go for it. 1st Gen's weren't sold in Aust...
