Re: Jeep Comanche Build
Ahh, look at that, theres my girl. I actually think a Comanche is a great idea, jeeps are good for a lot of things, hauling around more than basic tools isnt there strong suit. Re: Jurassic Park Explorer Control Panel Replica
That might work, though it might be a bit simpler to see if you can make a place to mount a stock window switch under the ones on the movie panel. so as the movie switches move, they just press down on the stock buttons underneath them. Re: The SPAS 12's of Jurassic Park
Interesting article, glad to see to get it screen accurate won't be super hard or expensive.
Do you have a good place to purchase a SPAS that's got all the accurate options? How much would ya expect to pay?

If you have the opportunity, you might want to look at the stock buttons for the windows and Temperature controls from a explorer and see if your able to design it so someone could make these buttons functional. I imagine the drivers side window switch from a 2 door explorer could be made to work.

Re: Advice Needed for Jeep Purchase
watch out for the 4cyl engines they like to blow rods around 180k miles sometimes. The 5 speed on the 4 cyl will also lose its 5th gear guaranteed, if it hasn't lost it already by the time you but it. and be aware that your 4wd vacuum switch might be broken, but that's simple to fix.
