Re: My Jeep 016
Here's where I stand now. I had no sunlight today so later I'll take a better picture: IMG_3220.JPG Adding some more layers didn't fix the problems, but I understand that this is a learning process. I'll do better when I go to paint the other panel...... Also, not Jeep related, but I got a special f...

Re: My Jeep 016
looks like the spray paint was laying down at different thicknesses. the light color under the green might not be covering completely and showing through. im guessing you didn't "seal" the panel first with primer. just put another coat on Thanks for the tips. I was using a "Paint and Primer," so I ...

Re: My Jeep 016
:? Yeah.... Speaking of green...... I screwed up: IMG_3215.JPG Even though I was consistently going in a back and forth motion, I got several blotches, ugly lines and it turns out that this panel has several sun spots (which can't be fixed). Later I might try sitting the panel in the sun for a while...

While I wait for my paycheck to get some jack stands I need, I decided to remove my passenger door and take a closer look at that crack around the lock: DSCF6335.JPG Again, it seems to be in the shell: DSCF6337.JPG Also, since I had to remove the inner panel to access the lock, I went ahead going to...

Re: My Jeep 016
A hard painting project is something that won't surprise me, but I'll worry about that after I fix it. From what I can currently tell, the cracks are in the shell. There doesn't seem to be a layer of vinyl. As for the aging, yeah, my Jeep has really faded sitting in the sun for so long (It was a cou...

Re: My Jeep 016
I'm finally back, but sadly, nothing has been done yet. There's been several family issues, switching jobs, and other hassles that have gotten in the way of me actually fixing my Jeep. Life finds a way, right? Anyways, I did take a closer look of my Jeep and took note of everything I could so I'll k...

Re: My Jeep 016
Man it's been a long time. How time flies right? Anyways a lot has happened since my first post and now. I got a decent paying job which makes doing stuff actually somewhat possible. Sadly, a few months ago, the transmission broke and I can't shift gears anymore. Because of this, I'm currently payin...

My Jeep 016
Here we go..... My first jeep progress. I've got my Jeep: 100_0009.JPG 100_0010.JPG 100_0014.JPG And I already got a tag made: 100_0015.JPG 100_0016.JPG I'm excited to start on this, but unless I get enough money to do it myself, or to get someone else to paint it for me, I may have to just slap the...

Nice job with the screensaver! Any chance it can come with sound effects?
