Re: BJDoering's Modern #24 JP Jeep

Correct. The sand beige poly (low gloss) was a factory color offered by Jeep. It was somewhat popular due to Desert Storm. People sitting at home watching the news saw lots of flat tan Humvees rolling through the desert. One of the YJs I went to look at was a correctly painted 92 Sahara with the low...

Re: David's JP project (spike42718)

Looks like its back to building one for me. Unless I find one it should not be that hard. Just get a piece of tube bent and weld on some flat plate for the mounts.

Re: David's JP project (spike42718)

I bet you the TJ one is so tall since it has a fixed header in the top that would need to clear to fold back. The CJ/YJ one probably doesn't have that weird cant and probably is shorter. I don't see why you couldn't cut/sleeve and re-weld it. If you were closer I'd offer to weld it for you. Exactly...

Re: David's JP project (spike42718)

That looks just like the Mopar one. Which was probably made by Olympic for Jeep. It looks a little tall, but it looks like it comes apart and could probably be shortened. The picture on the page shows it on a TJ. Its possible the design is slightly shorter for a YJ. Either way it looks lke it might ...

Re: Screen Used Shot Gun

The .600 Nitro Express is not a shotgun. It is a very large double rifle. Basically it is an elephant gun.

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep #12

Not 100% positive, but I seem to recall that the parts interchange program I use at work says the OE fog lights were made by Delta. Also, I noticed your YJ has the TJ style windshield rests on the hood. Ive heard some of the very last YJ's had these as they started switching over to build TJs. Mine ...

Re: chumpmann's JP13

Where did you order Sahara seats from? Obviously they are not new. But Ebay has not had much lately and I cant seem to find many other places selling YJ Sahara parts.

Thanks

Re: Grnjp88's '93 Sahara #28

I was writing my reply as you posted.

That looks like what I might go with in the future. I might have to settle on removing the rubber bumpers for now.

Actually, now that I think about it. How about a 1" or 3/4" wheel spacer on the carrier? I might have one from XJ project.
